The new piano track I received for “All the World's a Stage” was exactly what was needed & sounds REALLY good.
Yesterday, we finished up the song by making a few more minor adjustments & adding a third vocal harmony.
After that, we continued moving forward on “The Spirit Molecule”.
Even though we had already laid down the drum tracks & the guitar tracks the week before, we decided to start the song over from scratch.
As anyone with studio experience knows, that kind of thing happens from time to time. It could be viewed as taking a few steps back, but ultimately it's in the best interest of the song & the end product. Plus, we're playing music…not digging ditches or cleaning toilets. So it's all good.
